The Rural Strong Network is a project of Long View Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.  To learn more about our history, Staff, Board of Directors and Advisors, please CLICK HERE.  As a project of a nonprofit organization, we depend entirely on generous donations from individuals, foundations and other organizations.  We are dedicated to helping those who will make sure people in rural and factory towns and marginalized communities have a seat at the tables of power and are committed to making government work for all of us.  We support people and policies that hold accountable those who would stand in the way of our opportunities to have healthy and happy families and safe and prosperous communities.  To hear the community view of our President & CEO when she ran for elected office in the Washington State Legislature of her rural district in 2016 - Watch The Video. ​

​​We ourselves are rural as most of our leadership and staff are not only from rural communities and small towns but currently live there or will return to live there.  We are committed to helping rural people help our communities thrive.  We understand the challenges that we face.  By providing tactics, tools and training to individuals, existing groups and efforts, we will leverage our assets and networks to swiftly deploy resources and support targeted efforts in rural areas to support community leaders, build community resources, and ultimately, build a national voice for Rural America.  We believe that the future of rural communities is intertwined with the election of leaders who will advocate for and successfully implement policies that make government work for all of us.  Join us in building a brighter future for Rural America and the United States.
